I started Bikram's Yoga a few years ago. Interesting enough, I still remember my first few classes that I was swearing I would never go to attend a Bikram's Yoga class again in my life. And guess what, the more I practiced, the more I loved the Bikram's Yoga, and finally decided to go to the Teacher's Training in Fall 2006 to learn more about this exercise and become a Yoga Teacher. (Thank you to all the teachers who had taught me in the past, and encouraged me through my practice.)
The reason why I started going to Bikram's Yoga was to tone up my muscles, which really works. During my second year, I started focusing on practicing regularly, and I found that I have achieved lots of other things during the Yoga than just weight loss. I become a better person – Yoga teaches me what is faith, self-discipline, determination, concentration and patience. In addition, during the training, I found that Yoga works like a ‘miracle’, it has helped lots of students cure their illness and relieve their stress and pain. I really want to share my own experience with others via teaching Yoga to students who want to have a better live, both physically and mentally.
